Who do I contact to sign up for the ApartmentWorks program? Apply online and the program coordinator will contact you for a pre-screen phone interview.
How long is the ApartmentWorks program? Typically 5 weeks, and the classes are Monday - Friday 8:00 – 5:00 p.m.
Is there a cost for the program? Thanks to our sponsors, this program is free to those that get accepted. The tuition, books, and exam is covered at no cost. All you have to purchase is a uniform.
Where are the classes held? The classes are held throughout Los Angeles, but vary depending on the time classes are being offered. Please call to receive more information on where the next class will be held.
What is required for acceptance into the program? Interested candidates must meet the following eligibility requirements: Minimum age 18, must have a high school diploma or GED, must have a valid driver’s license, No adult felony or misdemeanor convictions, must speak, read and write in English, know basic computer skills, have at least 1 year of paid work experience in the field or equivalent work.
Do I have to have experience to be accepted to the program? It is recommended that you should have at least 1 year of paid work experience in construction; plumbing; electrical; janitorial; grounds worker or any other hands on field.
Can I work and go to school at the same time? The ApartmentWorks program is intense, accelerated, and rigorous. Therefore, it is imperative that students have secured financial support for living expenses before enrolling. Some students have worked weekends or overnight as long as it does not affect their attendance and study time.
Will I be guaranteed a job if I go through the ApartmentWorks program? We cannot guarantee that you will be hired. What we can guarantee is the preparation and intensive coaching to improve your interview skills that will help you get hired. We guarantee that you will meet and interview with top employers in the industry and receive follow-up services until you are employed. We currently hold an 80% job placement rate.

How long are the classes? Classes are held every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9am to 4pm for 8 weeks
How much does it cost? This is a FREE program. There is no cost to participants. However, all participants must be able to commit full attendance to the program. Missed sessions could result in termination from the program.
Is the job placement guaranteed? We guarantee that you will interview with our bank partners for open positions. We will continue to work with you until placement is found.
Is it paid training? This is a free program. You are not paid for attending.
How often is this course offered? BankWork$ is offered 4 times a year.
Where are the classes held? Classes are held in a centralized location in Los Angeles County and job placement is near your home.
Do you require banking experience? No. We do look for prior work experience involving sales and cash handling and interacting with customers.

If you are eligible, an invitation to attend the Mandatory Information meeting will follow. You will fill out the HealthWorks application at the mandatory Information Meeting.
Where are the classes held? Classes are held in various locations throughout LA county.
How much does it cost? This is a FREE program. We will cover your tuition, state test and book.
How do I know if I’m eligible? Eligibility requirements can be found on the website or you can email [email protected].
If I’m eligible, am I automatically accepted into the program? No. we carefully review each candidate’s application, responses in interview sessions, results of the English and Mathematics assessment tests, and several clearances.
What is the training schedule? Classes are usually held during the weekday in the day time. No evening or weekend classes are available.
What if I have something on my criminal record? Please keep in mind that you must pass a live scan and background check as listed in the eligibility requirements. Upon completion of your training, you will be receiving a state certification so a clear criminal record is necessary though certain exceptions do apply. Please call if you have a specific concern.
