JVS Launches Veterans First Program
They helped secure America's future. Now it's our turn. Transitioning from the military to civilian life can be tough, and finding a new job even harder. With funding from the Veterans Administration, JVS is here to assist veterans by offering career coaching, assessments to help identify transferable skills, job placement and even a Veterans Job Club support group.
The new program will be headed up by Travis McElroy, who was a Captian in the U.S. Air Force and served in Germany and Bosnia, Joel Canfield, a first lieutenent in the Army Reserves and Jose De La Cruz, who in addition to having a Masters in Rehabilitation Counseling, was in the U.S. Air Force and Reserves.
