Fritz Coleman to Host JVS' Strictly Business 2013

12-11-12 – Fritz Coleman, beloved weatherman, comedian and Southern California icon, will be the host of JVS’ 16th Annual Strictly Business L.A. Luncheon to be held May 8, 2013 at the Beverly Hilton

Coleman has been delivering the weather for more than 30 years for NBC4 where he can be seen on the weekly newscasts at 5 p.m., 6 p.m. and 11 p.m. He has been selected “Best Weatherman” by numerous publications throughout Southern California.

Coleman is also the recipient of Humanitarian of the Year awards from the U.S. House of Representatives, Shelter Partnership and the California Hospital Medical Center. Also a successful stand-up comedian, Coleman has performed the one-man shows “It’s Me! Dad!”, “The Reception” and Tonight at Eleven.”

JVS’ Strictly Business L.A. brings together hundreds of business leaders, top executives, young professionals, government representatives and policy makers. The event begins with a Business Networking Reception, followed by the luncheon program recognizing individuals and companies that have set the standard for corporate philanthropy, with the Corporate Leadership Award.

Each year's program also includes the presentation of the Annual Inspiration Awards to JVS clients who have overcome substantial barriers to find success in the workplace.
