JVS Los Angeles receives $50,000 grant from S. Mark Taper Foundation

JVS is pleased to announce that the agency has been awarded a $50,000 grant from the S. Mark Taper Foundation.

The award continues the relationship between the two organizations as well as the S. Mark Taper Foundation’s ongoing support of JVS and its award-winning programs and services designed to help disadvantaged Los Angeles residents who are facing barriers to employment achieve hope and financial independence. The S. Mark Taper Foundation has previously supported several JVS training programs designed to lead clients to stable career paths. These include JVS HealthWorks which assists people to launch careers in the healthcare industry by training them as certified nurse assistants (CNAs).

“We are extremely honored and grateful for the S. Mark Taper Foundation’s support of JVS’s work on behalf of Angelenos in need,” said JVS CEO Vivian Seigel. “We look forward to continuing a long and fruitful partnership between our two agencies.”
