Veterans First is dedicated to helping individuals transition from military to civilian life.
You helped America secure its future, now we want to help you secure yours. Finding a new job in this market can be even harder. JVS' Veterans First program can help.
Veterans First provides:
- Professional career coaching to navigate the civilian business and workplace culture
- Assessments to help identify transferable skills for civilian jobs
- Job placement assistance and Veterans Job Club
- Referrals to other VET programs to maximize VET benefits and other services

Eligibility:
Eligibility Requirements
- For eligible veterans of Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF)and Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF)
- Veterans who were honorably discharged in the last 48 months
- Veterans who served on active duty in armed forces during a war or in a war campaign or expedition for which a campaign badge has been authorizedVeterans who were discharged underconditions other than dishonorable in the last 48 months, including those who were discharged for service-connected disabilities,
- Those whose service time is up, etc.Eligible spouses as defined in the Jobs for Veterans’ Act PL 107-288
