Small Business Plan Evaluation
JVS' Small Business Plan Evaluation team helps determine the economic and business viability of business plans submitted by individuals with disabilities who want to start their own businesses.
Each year, JVS’ Assessment team gives the green light to a wide range of plans, enabling people with disabilities to live independent and productive lives.

Having established a highly successful career and gathered years of experience in graphic design and art direction, Ellen R. developed serious physical disabilities that made traditional employment impossible. Her counselor at the State Department of Rehabilitation referred her to JVS. Her dream was to go into business for herself and maintain her independence, a goal that was within reach thanks to JVS’ Small Business Assessment Program. Today, Ellen is a successful ceramics artist with a home-based studio and an impressive body of work.
