This innovative six-month career development program offers women with defined career objectives the unique opportunity to be paired with a mentor who is an established professional in the mentee’s field of choice. This partnership enables mentees to focus on personal and professional growth, increase their networks and receive encouragement and coaching in order to reach customized career goals.

Founded in 1998, the program supports women with a clear career direction as they work to advance their professional goals and personal development.

Paired with a mentor who has an established career in the participant’s chosen field, each mentee works closely with her mentor and the JVS WoMentoring staff to reach individually designed career goals.  Program participants come from a wide range of career areas and mentors are chosen who closely match these areas of interest.  Successful mentees are encouraged to return to the program as mentors.

WoMentoring is funded in part by Terri and Jerry Kohl, Union Bank, Wells Fargo Bank and the Women's Leadership Network (WLN).
