WHAT:

A FREE job fair for the unemployed
people of West Hollywood and other L.A. area residents. In a unique
effort to help get people back to work in these difficult economic times,
JVS will offer free 15-minute career counseling sessions with
professional licensed career counselors. More than 400 job seekers are
expected to attend, along with numerous local businesses that are looking
to hire new employees .

The fair is co-sponsored
by West Hollywood Employment Services & Training (WHEST), a division
of Jewish Vocational Service, and the City of West Hollywood. From offices
at West Hollywood City Hall, WHEST helps the area's businesses tap into
the talents and expertise of local residents through free hiring, staffing
and training services. Whenever a business in West Hollywood needs employees,
help or advice on human resources matters, or staff training, WHEST
is there to help. WHEST also helps the area's job-seekers discover their
career goals, refine their resumes, plan and execute a job search, prepare
for job interviews, and more.
